Spinous, stunted shrubs: branches zig-zag Leaves small, sub-orbicular, rounded at apex, whitish tomentose beneath. Inflo. in axillary cymes; Flowers with calyx hairy, petals rounded, longer than sepals, 5 stamens, filaments deflexed. Disk 10-lobed with a pit opposite each lobe. Ovary 2-celled, styles 2, united. styles 2- fid; Fruits drupe globose, red when ripe.
