Deciduous tree with gray stellate hairs on the tender parts and leaves. Leaves are opposite, pinnate compound; leaflets about 7, obovate or obcordate, glabrous, margin entire, apex acute, terminal leaflet larger than the others. Flowers in corymbs, pedicellate; calyx spathulate, corolla white, 2-lipped; stamens 4, didynamous, anthers oblong, Capsule flat, falcately curved, seeds with membranous wings.
