Antigonon leptopus is a species of perennial vine in family Polygonaceae. it is a fast-growing climbing vine that holds on via hard wire like tendrils( floral bud tendril). it is characterized by showy, usually pink flowers that can bloom throughout the year and large, dark green heart-shaped to arrowhead shaped leaves. The actual flowers are tiny but the sepals are larger and provide the brilliant colors.
